You’ve Got Questions: Topics!
16June 3, 2012 by agirlikemee
Thank you, thank you thank you! The response you have given on topics you wanted to discuss was more than we could have asked for. And the questions you wanted to discuss?? Even better. After sorting through all of the emails and comments, we have settled on the eight we will do for this month. Please know that if your question was not selected it was not because it wasn’t good, we may have felt that it required a little more than one post and are possibly hoping to get to it at a later date and time. So without further ado…and in completely random order…..here are the questions we’ll be tackling together this month:
1. What is it like being a band wife
2. How do I know when I am hearing from God
3. Why does God let people get sick
4. How did you know your husband was the ONE
5. How can I be happy in my own skin
6. How do I deal with anxiety
7. How to stay strong and trust God in the midst of trials
8. How to deal with the need for acceptance
Again, thanks ladies for your participation and the outpouring of love and support that we have received from you all. Looking forward to discussing more about these!
Awesome!! I can’t wait to get some answers along those topics!! It’s kind of weird because a lot of those things are things that I’ve wanted to know as well….I guess that’s just another example of the fact that a lot of us girls have the same kinds of questions. =) Thank-you again for ALL that you’re doing. This is such an amazing ministry!! I’m so excited about it. =)
Great choices…can’t wait to see the posts!! God is definitely working through you ladies and this blog!
I got a question…
What would you do when someone you have been dating for 12 years breaks up with you and he was the only guy in your life that will except you because you are ugly because of a medical condition and you know the reason he broke up with you is because he is afraid of what you will think about his “addiction” that he doesnt know you know about. And you are now so depressed you havent eaten for 4 days and had to be forced to drink water… Any answers accepted.
Kali, my name is Jessi. I want you to know that there is healing no matter how big the problem is and there is help. I had a giant crush on a boy for the longest time, we got together for a little while and then he broke up with me because of some other girl. I know it’s really painful! but you got to let go of him and your so precious and beautiful in God’s eyes. I felt the same way about this guy loving me because of my features, but you know what. If he broke up with you because of his addiction. It’s not your fault!! He has got to come to the place where telling your sins to the people who love you is the most freeing experience ever! let him know that and I’m sure you both will be alright! God Bless you!!
Thanks jessi I have felt so scared for so long but you have helped so much in this healing process even though it probably doesn’t seem like much. He says he just isnt ready to tell people what he has done after I showed him the TAN video journal for healing begins. I just have to trust God’s plan that he has this in his hands and right now I have been too consumed in the guy rather than in my Youth leader studies. I appreciate you helping me so much and I know God will work it out how he sees fit.
Love and blessings,
Kali
Ps.I’m eating
Well good!! And your in my prayers along with the boy!! Keep praying God will answer your prayers:) Everything will turn out alright!!!
You are so appreciated and will be in my heart forever
I hope I’m not too late, I know you’ve already picked the Q’s for June. But here’s my question, I have a lot of sibs and I’m the oldest of them all, and we always get into fights and reply with bitter words and I’ve been trying to encourage them to be nice and speak graciously but whenever I do they hate me for it. I want to encourage them in the Lord and see a difference in our relationships but they always hate me when I talk about that kind of stuff. Any advice?
I have a brother that will not except that stuff as well and sadly I have learned there isnt a thing in the world you will do to change their mind. All you can do is keep telling them this and know that God has a plan and knew this would happen. AND PRAY!!!!!!!!!!! I know this is hard to swallow but you must do this. And just know it will happen in God’s time!
Hi Kali,
Thanks for the advice! I will continue to pray for them as well as for your brother.
Hey no problem I agree with my good friend Jessi too I hope we could have helped a little
I would try to kill them with kindness. Christ says “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness” It think your on the right track with telling them to use kind words, try to be nice to them even when they hurt you. Your in my prayers!!!
Thank you
Your right when you say that it hurts, sometimes the hardest thing to do is walk away from a fight and let them “win” but one time I “won” and the other person was hurt by me and I felt so horrible. I cried because I felt like I would never be able to stop fighting with them and be selfless. Thank you for the advice and thank you for saying I’m in your prayers.
Your welcome Girl!! You’ll be alright:) Trust in Jesus and He will give you the desires of your heart!
You are a rlly good advise giver!!!
